hey everyone! it’s come that time that we’re getting a bit short handed, and with summer - things are picking up! we’re looking for 1-2 extra admins who are willing to help us add submissions to our queue, suggest ideas on making ATR a better place, and possibly help us out with a revamped themes in the near future.
we ask everyone who applies to please be an active member of the tumblr community. you need to be logging onto tumblr every day because we are usually always getting submissions.
if you’re interested in helping us out, all we need is you to submit an application (not an ask) with the following information:
- your alias.
- how long you’ve been roleplaying.
- how long you’ve been on tumblr.
- any examples of graphics that you may have.
- staffing experience. (provide links)
- contact information (email, at least one kind of messenger is required - preferably msn, etc).
- anything else involving roleplaying! we want to know more about what you love about it, what you hate about it, and what you’d like to do to make the invisionfree community a better place. we’d also like to know a little more about you. this doesn’t need to be long, just tell us what you’d like us to know!

A Thousand Fireflies has a brand new look for summer, and we’re looking to expand our staff! The time has come once again for a staff search! If you are interested in becoming staff on one of the top resource boards on invisionfree servers, then we are interested in YOU! We are currently looking for positions in the following moderator groupings: coding, challenge, security, and of course, writing mods! Please note that all moderators are required to help out when promotions roll around, as well as having a good moral standing in the roleplaying world. We’ve received quite a number of general and security mod applications, but we’d really love to see some more advertising mod applications as well! As an advertising mod, you’ll be accepting and sorting ads, linking back and/or first time linking, etc. Basically just handling the entire advertising board. No big deal. No you don’t need be the world’s greatest coder, but some coding experience and good, solid examples would be a definite plus. Head on over to Caution 2.0 or A Thousand Fireflies to apply!
hey there! so my friend katie and i are running a staff search for our site based on the tv show, hart of dixie! we wont be having the same characters and nor will we be setting in it bluebell, but we’ll have a lot of stuff that’s similar and basically we want that same special feeling we get while watching the show to be all over the site! so what i want from you is that, if you’re interested, send me a post in my ask box with your name, age and experience (admining, graphics making and coding). we can code and make graphics but we’d love the extra helping hand, except its not really 100% necessary that you can do those. <3333

Strange New World is looking for a few brave souls! Due to the demands of a developing site, we’re looking to add a few people to our team. As we’ve mentioned we’re going to be hosted on invisionfree, so if you have at least a rudimentary knowledge of that format we need you! Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Graphics/Coding Admin: Here’s the deal—while we have some coding experience, graphics are hard. That’s why we’re looking for up to 2 people with some bamf skills to help create site graphics, a skin for the site, and help with the thousands of codes that make a site pretty. We’ll also need the administrators to help with site development and maintenance. :3
2. Global Moderator(s): An active site is a hectic site. Even the most active admins need help keeping face claims, character apps, and generally keeping lists and wanted ads up to date. Think you’re up to the challenge? We’d love to see your application! We’re looking for at least one, but might add more as the site gets more active.
3. Advertising Mods: Do you like to post advertisements on websites? Have we got a job for you! Advertising mods will be responsible for posting our ad and making sure all advertisements stay up to date. This is a big job in and of itself but if you get bored or want more work you will also be able to help the global mod(s).
If you feel you can contribute graphics, coding or any other help to the site but don’t have the time or don’t feel you fit into any of the above categories feel free to submit anyways! We’d love to have friends of the site and some extra help!
And In Return: We can offer advance pick of cannons, or even better a chance to write cannons! You’ll also be able to reserve faces long before everyone else. Not to mention you’ll have a sneak peak into the site and the workings of the site and will be able to post before SNW opens to the public! And don’t forget you get to hang out with me!
A Few Requests: If you’re going for the graphics/coding remember to provide a few examples of your work. It is, after all, only fair. As previously mentioned previous experience with running a site, or even better running an IF site, would be much appreciated. If you’re reading this you probably have a tumblr, and you should have additional forms of communication as well. MSN is my personal preference, but Skype is also acceptable.

Au Contraire is a second version of a forum-based vampire rpg that has been open for a year and a half on Invisionfree! Inspired by True Blood and the Vampire Chronicles Au Contraire takes place in Modern Day New Orleans where vampires have came out with no intention of peace and have taken over the world with propaganda and false promises a new socialist vampire movement. All while the humans are still waking up to this horrifying reality.
We’re literate, rated R and our word count is four hundred words. The admins at Au Contraire are looking for more to join their team. Currently there are two of us, Cilli and I (Ruby). For the most part we have graphics and coding down, and the information, canon list and etc have been written but we‘re still up for more ideas you might bring. We’re looking for a few global mods, who can universally help run the site and keep it awesome, all while being apart of the family!
Requirements; You must be active, and we don’t mean only posting once a week. You must be able to be on at least once a day. You have to be willing to participate and be in it for the long run, and not just run away after a month or so without any notice. Activity can not be stressed enough we need you to be dedicated and have fun all while also doing your job. Graphics and Coding skills are appreciated, not required but definitely appreciated, the most thing is that you’re going to have to have experience. You may be running the admin cp, or just the mod cp, but either way you got to have experience in what we’re asking you to do!

site plot: Well, so far the plot is somewhat raw in my mind. It will revolve around witches since in this world the majority of the population can use magic. The time period is current and set in a small town (specific country still not decided) but people still fancy wearing beautiful dresses and suits (think of harry potter). IT IS NOT SET IN A SCHOOL. The factions (still undecided) will be divided by the strength of the witch/warlock’s magic, which additionally (usually) also influences his/her role in society. The bad guys will be called ‘Hollows’ and they are witches who requested/allowed their bodies to be inhabited by a potent spirit (usually in exchange for something great, like an amazing wand).
kind of staff needed: I need [b]ADMINS[/b] to help me create canons, rules, plot twists, accept/deny applications and keep things organized. [b]you must be active[/b]. I can take care of the graphics and some coding, though someone skilled when it comes to codes would be absolutely fantastic (but not necessary).
