Hey there followers!

From now on, any site advertisements, site tumblrs or site buzz must be tagged with the “Invisionfree Site” tag or the “Jcink Site” tag. This is to further assist any site-hunters narrow down their searches, and also helps us eliminate any forums/sites that aren’t supported at the moment by ATR.

ATR has added JCINK and IF tags for your submissions.

This ALWAYS applies to advertisements. For site buzz, if you’re not sure which host you’re using that’s fine to leave it off, but if you ARE sure, please make use of these tags to help roleplayers better choose which boards they’re comfortable with.

Attention Followers

The submit button has been temporary turned off.

Currently, our Queue isn’t working, and hasn’t been working since about Friday. As none of the staff that run this blog are on 24 hours a day, it’s hard to keep up with the constant submissions, especially now that we need to go through the queue and publish everything manually. So we ask that you bare with us for the time being while we try and work out this issue.

The submit option will be turned on again as soon as we’re caught up!

Submissions: Temporarily Closed

Hey everyone! Because of tumblr’s insistent need to not let our queue work, we’re not able to get it to stay under 30 things that need to be posted. So for right now we’re temporarily closing submissions until we can get caught up on postings for right now. This is TEMPORARY, and we will re-open them as soon as possible.

Queue not working.

The queue function on tumblr hasn’t been working for a couple days… we currently have 30+ things in the queue and so we’ve been having to manually post them.

We apologize for this convenience and appreciate your patience but please don’t submit twice.

RULES REMINDER

Just a friendly reminder to our followers that you may only submit a site advertisement once every twenty four hours.

If you have several staff members on a site that is opening, we suggest that you designate ONE person to submit the advertisement to ATR every twenty-four hours (if you so choose) in order for both you, and ourselves to keep track of them.

To clarify!

Hey there!

In regards to the new rule about only having a character request submitted every three days:

If you posted a request for a character, you must wait three days before posting again for ANY character request, not just the one for the same character. This is why we’re allowing up to four requests per submission. Sorry for the confusion about that and remember to keep linking back to when you last had your submission posted.

About character requests!

Lately we’ve been getting a lot of character requests, as you might have noticed. Because of this and because of the fact that it can be a lot of extra advertising, especially when these character requests are being submitted more than once a day, we have made a decision to let each of the ATR members request once every three days, with up to four requests in the submission.

We want to try to make ATR fair for everyone and give all sites the same amount of time to be seen, and so we think that this will be a good way to do it. You can still submit advertisements and site buzz once a day, so feel free to do that.

When submitting your character requests to ATR, be sure to include a link to your last character advertisement, so that we can make sure that it has been three days. This link will be deleted before we send the submission to the queue, so no worries about that!

ATR ADDS: How about … a different site all together? There are SO MANY small-town rps out there, I would personally love to see some new genre with some more creativity and originality … the two things you described, in my opinion, are two of probably the most common ones I’ve seen advertised on here recently. If you want people to really join and get excited about something, I think you need a site with fresh ideas and a brand new setting/concept than a small town.
