Therefore submissions are temporarily closed until we get it down a bit.
Thank you.
GREAT news! Looks like Tumblr finally fixed the queuing button feature so those of us who were missing it, have it again. Which means that unless the queue gets backed up, submissions are back open regularly now! Thank you so much for being patient with us and Tumblr.
Thanks,
ATR Admins
Because I realize I have to work all day Weds so… it’s just tomorrow and maybe at the end of the week. I know, it’s like who cares just FYI.

Submissions are now closed again. I’ll try and queue again on Weds but let’s hope tumblr returns the queue button eh?
There are 47 things in the queue.
Cheers,
Bell
I personally don’t mind queuing submission by hand for today. So for today submissions are open. I may decide to do this every 3 days until tumblr gets the queue button back up.

You may have noticed a lack of posts from us as of lately. A couple of days ago we posted to let you all know that currently the ability to queue items from our submissions inbox has not been working. The only way to queue is to edit each individual submission, select queue and then submit. When we receive 50-100 submissions a day, this is very, very time consuming. So for the time being, submissions have been turned off, but we are in contact with Tumblr Support to get this fixed. They’ve been pretty timely with their responses, but as you can imagine we’re only one of millions of Tumblr users. Please bear with us. Check the ‘our post’ tag for updates, and/or the cbox on your blog.
Thank you,
ATR Admin.
Hello ATRer’s! Currently there’s an issue with the ‘queue’ button not showing up in our submissions. The other admins are busy, and there are currently 65 things to be queued. So to get them done I will have to edit each one individually to queue them. Until this is fixed (I’ve already sent Tumblr an email) submissions will be closed temporarily. We’ll post again when they’re back open. We know this is a pain, and we’re sorry! We’ll work with Tumblr as fast as we can to get this fixed.
Thanks,
ATR Admin.
Lately we’ve seen an abundance of ads come in with improper tagging. If your site is NOT OPEN, you do not tag it ‘advertisement’. This is solely ‘site buzz’. Also, the genre tags are only up to 3 per ad, so choose wisely. We shouldn’t have to edit nearly half the ads coming through. Please refresh yourselves with the submission rules and make sure you’re adhering to them.
Thank you,
ATR Admins
Prepare for wall of text cause of a lot of feels - about 2000 words - so if the whole situation annoyed you lol don’t read this? My intention of posting this is not to perpetuate more drama. I am just that type of person that sometimes I can’t bottle it up and have to get it all off my chest or else it’ll just be a constant weight. I am a full supporter of the whole - don’t go to bed angry thing. (Which is probably why I couldn’t sleep and woke up at 5am to write this rambly post.)
Cheers.
Note: Since I started writing at 5:30 am and it is now 7:20 am please keep in mind it was early and again you may not read my words as I intended. (We’re not all masters of the dictionary/thesaurus.) However, now, for reasons, there will not be any valid excuse to attack my rp sites/ATR which are more than just me and effect other people. The rest of the ATR staff do a wonderful job providing this service voluntarily with free their time and effort. And I don’t want you to confuse MY mistakes as theirs or ATR overall. Same goes for my board co-admins and members. (I do act differently if not “nicer” on like 98% of all other days, if you can believe that.) Please take up all future personal attacks on my tumblrs. They will be ignored - but I rather you not attack people/the ATR community/other staffers who weren’t the source of the problem. Tagged as #our post only because I honestly have nothing to shy away or hide from and don’t want to make it yesterday’s legit concerns seem brushed over, taken lightly, or went unheard.
Get it. Get it. But please keep in mind that if you are found to be abusing the rules about how long you should wait to resubmit (aka if they are found to be less than 12hrs apart - just no), want ads, you WILL be put on a three strikes list. And if you reach your third strike we WILL notify you and put your submissions under a week suspended period, where they will not be posted.
Woke up with 40 things in the queue… and it’s not even noon yet. So sorry to do this to you guys so early but submissions will be closed. We’ll try and post some through at more intervals.
Unfortunately Tumblr only says post X amount of posts in certain amount of time instead of post every X minutes.
Thanks for understanding.
ATR
They are all tagged #atrdq. It is not in the sidebar as the tags are still available to see under each post…
We don’t mean to make one person’s questions more noticeable than others by screencapping some but not others. But we HAVE received more lately than before. Rather than queue them which is unfair - as it could take some time for them to show up posted mixed with ads - we are screencaping them as they are asked. So if we are asked 4 in an hour or so, we sort of have to screencap them. Whereas if we only get one in 3 hours. You do the math. If you have an issue with this (what we hope is more productive method) please take it up with us, not in the cbox. We would HOPE that those interested in replying would take time to read all asks in the screencap, but we cannot control that. LBR reading everything or at all is a problem with our generation.
If your question is still overlooked and doesn’t get much response. Feel free to ask again. <3
ATR
P.S. We are always open for suggestions better methods. Just be civil about it.
It’s far more effort to group multiple asks into a single post than it is to post a single ask. And as for why they are not grouped together, the entire point of them is that they can quickly reach a wider audience, who may then be able to reply.
