How do people feel about a site where only a certain number of people can join at any one time? For example, I don't remember it's name, but a while back there was a school site which only allowed something like 80 characters at a time. Do people find this to be too restrictive, or if the plot was interesting enough, would it especially make you want to join?

Would anyone be interested in a Pokemon site based in the POV of the Trainers/Humans rather than in that of the Pokemon themselves?

What is the big deal about canon/spirit characters with the celebrity who plays them? If I want to play a character with (exp) Stiles Stilinski's personality and Dylan O'Brien's face, why is it a problem? Is my writing not real writing because I didn't create the character I absolutely ADORE to play? How is it different from AU roleplays or Spirit sites? Why is there so much taboo? This is coming from people on sites where the admins have no issue with it. Honest opinions, please!

How does an admin keep their sites running for so long? I've seen quite a few where they've been open for about a year, or even more than that, which I find amazing; and I'm wondering what their secret is for doing so! Lol.

This is my first time running a forum, and I have my tumblr up for updates. Well, I have plenty of faces for canons, and I'm just wondering how many canons I should post on my tumblr (I have 5 groups, and I'd like about 5 canons in each. So there'd be about 25 canons total)? Should I just post some, and leave the rest for the site? Or should I post all of them, and have people pre-reserve them (maybe a week before opening day)? I'm just curious on what should be done!

so, i'm a curious person that wonders around on sites, and i'm not going to mention what site it was or anything to get people into trouble. i just so happen to come upon a site where an admin told a member she had to change the name of her character because the admin already had a character with that name on ANOTHER site and it killed her muse to have someone use that name on that one. i believe that is unfair and just turns me off about a site, what about y'all?

how do people feel about model-only sites? do you think this is a positive thing, because it eliminates MOST of the pic shipping- which some people are not fond of- or do you think that it is too restrictive, and would make you shy away from a site?

sent this already but my internet wigged out so sending again. in regards to faces on canon lists- how do people prefer they be formatted? set faces? a face suggestion that can be changed, as long as it is close to the suggestion? multiple face suggestions that you can choose from? an open face but with a description? (ie- white male, mid-twenties, dark hair, tattoos.) i can't do completely open because some of these canons need to look a certain way, but other than that, i'm stuck!

I'm on a board where twice now I have posted to reserve a face and began to work on a character and soon after I receive a pm from a member of staff (the same member of staff in both instances) asking me if I would consider changing my face claim because she wanted to, at some vague point in the future, create a character using that face. It seems rude to me and like something she wouldn't consider asking if she wasn't on staff. What should I do?
