sent this already but my internet wigged out so sending again. in regards to faces on canon lists- how do people prefer they be formatted? set faces? a face suggestion that can be changed, as long as it is close to the suggestion? multiple face suggestions that you can choose from? an open face but with a description? (ie- white male, mid-twenties, dark hair, tattoos.) i can't do completely open because some of these canons need to look a certain way, but other than that, i'm stuck!

how do you deal with people who get upset over romantic character rejection? i'm an admin on a site and in my shipper it clearly said my character was not interested in dating or having feelings for anyone atm so when their character threw them self at mine they were obviously rejected. now that member seems to have just left the site all together right after the occurrence. any tips on how to better deal with that in the future to avoid people leaving?

So, my site is about two days away from opening, and my other admin and I decided to do something a little different with the plot pages. Instead of each character getting one, we want each member to have a "character tracker" so you can see everyone they play at once, and plot with them all at one time. It's less time consuming and we really like it, but we wanted to see how you guys felt! Plot pages vs character trackers, I guess. Would character trackers be a plus or a minus?

So I'm a part of this site where the three admins are not all that friendly to people who have not been a part of the site since the beginning. It's difficult to integrate into the site because they make the cbox so uncomfortable. They are very cliquey and make fun of other members at their expense. They think it's alright, because they are admins. It's uncomfortable when I'm trying to participate in a conversation and they suddenly start asldkjaslk to their friend. What should I do?

how would you handle a "head" admin overriding another admin's decision on a site? for example, if one admin were to pend an application for whatever reason, then the "head" admin came along and vetoed it, accepting the app themselves?

How does one step down from a staff team/leave a site when you're no longer comfortable being on staff due to another staff member?

wouldn't it be easier to have a fluid 14-day post rule instead of a monthly activity check? like, for example, if you had 3 characters and you haven't posted one of them in a thread for 2 weeks, their face claim becomes up for grabs / that account is not deleted, but moved into an inactive bin for, say, another 2 weeks. no more annoying checks, no more members who only bother to post during activity checks.

What would you do if you deny an application for a higher ranking canon position because the applicant obviously did not have a grasp on what that higher position meant? I.E.; they made the character too young, made it too easy for them to get that high position. Then, the very next day, they redid the app and had the same exact problems?

do you ever have someone pick up your wanted ad and the character just turns out nothing like you had really laid out in the ad? i've been finding even hard to respond because they are just.. too much. what would you do in that situation? just buck and be happy it was taken even though they didn't really listen to what you'd said?

how would people feel about a site without a site tumblr to promote it? have any sites done this recently and if so, how successful has that been?

What do you think of admins asking new members to change the name of their character when taking their request because they don't "like" the name? Shouldn't they be happy that someone is taking the request and not be picky and snotty about it?

as an admin how do you deal with people not plotting with each other? i try to encourage plotting but sometimes i end up being the only one who plots and offers threads to people and sometimes that can be annoying

what should you do when you have quite an original plot and then someone sets up a site which is slightly different but still has the same basis of your idea?
