I just want to say it's kind of obvious when a mods ad is posted. We can't submit ads as a picture, only as a text post with a picture. I don't know if you wanted to keep this in mind or not since you want your identities a secret but yeah.
I’m not sure what you mean by this? Could you be more specific maybe? All ads have to have a picture and text because we require that there be a link, including the mod ads. There are no exceptions.
What do you consider when you talk about RP sites? Does Facebook count?
What's preferred: headbar, sidebar or footbar?
Is there any interest out there for a board that encourages more taboo plots? I know on a lot of sites people get weirded out by plots that are outside the fluffy spectrum, and was just curious if I made a site that encouraged that kind of thing if anyone be interested. Ya know, where you didn't get judged, criticized or ostracized for having "weird" plots.
can anyone really explain the point of models-only sites?
are there any models-only sites out there/any coming out soon?
How do you guys decide what questions to post? I know that you guys reserve the right to not post anything you consider inflammatory, so I was curious about your process as I asked a question about site tumblrs the other day and it was never published. I don't think anything in it was derogatory, so I'd like to know what I should change the next time I have a question. :)
We’ve been combining a lot of the questions into one post, as well as a lot of the answers because of the amount we’ve been getting. So have you checked the discussion posts we’ve been posting?
Also, there is a good chance that your question was answered in the last week or so as well, as we’re starting to delete questions that are asked over and over again, as usually they’ve been answered in the week/days before it was asked. Site Tumblrs and people’s opinions of them, or whether or not people like them and what people use them for are all questions we get almost daily … so that could also be a likely reason why it was deleted, if it wasn’t posted in one of our combined discussion posts.
But as a general guideline, anything rude, directed towards us as a staff or you guys as a community that is disrespectful, unjust, trolling, or or anything along those lines will be deleted. If you have some constructive thing to ask or contribute to the conversation, it will more than likely be published.
However, we’re not going to be publishing just one question at a time any more - we’re going to wait for three-four of them to be submitted before publishing, keeping the number of posts we make to a minimum.
I hope this answered your question!

PS - If anyone wants to check out past questions and discussions, feel free to explore our Anonymous tag (as most of the questions we receive are anonymous), Discussion tag or Ask tag.
how do you keep a site active? how do you draw members to it and make them stay active?
would anyone be interested in a site set in the eighties maybe something like rock of ages revolving around the bourbon room and the strip in la?
hey! i'm trying to think of possible PBs for a younger brother for Matthew Gray Gubler. any suggestions?
if we have an issue we would like to discuss with your staff in private, how would we go about facilitating this meeting and discussion?
Send us the issue (using the submit option) and we’ll see what we can do from there. Please ensure your ask box has the anonymous ask option turned on so we can communicate back with you if it’s something we can help with.
Personally, I really hate it when people make a character with a face that you've used in your wanted ad without taking the ad. I think a lot of people do put effort into choosing a face around the character they're requesting (even if they're pic-shipping), and I know I do, so it just annoys me a lot. What do other people think?
what are the best places to get photoshoots that would go with band/tour sites to use for graphics?
it might be useful to look at photoshoots of specific bands - do any followers know of a good answer for this?
What's the rule for submitting character ads? Because I thought it was three days but it says 36 hours on the submit.
All rules listed on our submit page are correct :)
Character Ads are accepted once every 36 hours, and we require you to provide us with a link if it’s a re-submission.
two questions -- 1. do we no longer have to link to the past time we posted a request each time we re-submit? 2. would i be allowed to submit a reserve wanted ad, as in, i'm looking for a site where i can play character x and i want someone to play character y for me, and include a way to contact me?
1) Yes, you do still need to do that <3
2) You can definitely do that — just be sure to explain it in a way that people will know what you’re asking for, and be sure to provide a way to contact you! I would tag it as “request” I think …
Hope this helps!

Feel free to submit site ads, site requests, crackship graphics of your characters, discussion topics, etc. We wanna know whats up! So tell us! Make sure to read the submission guidelines!
Please do not...
- Bash or put down other sites and/or roleplayers.
- Advertise proboards, tumblr rps, or other sites that don't use the invision software.
