As an admin, I would prefer you not join if you’re just going to port the same character from the last 20 sites you’ve been on, take up a face, play the same plot you’ve been trying to play for the last 3 months, and [probably] ditch within a few weeks. I put a lot of effort into making my sites unique, and that not only undermines it, but also creates a culture of unreliability. If I wanted my site to thrive, I would much rather have 5 active players that post daily than 20 floaters.
You may have a right to do whatever you want with “your” face or character, but you don’t have that right to do it on my site. When I see people like that, it grinds my gears because I know they’re probably not sticking around for long, and they’re just going to take the same character and port them to the next site that catches their flight of fancy. They often make no effort to integrate into the site and make others feel welcome. It does more harm than good. So yeah, I’ll say something, tyvm.
