welcome to hell on earth. it is the summer of 1979, and the death eater rebellion is in its full, terrible swing. the dark lord’s minions indiscriminately attack muggle-borns, their family members, even innocent muggles who know nothing of the wizarding world. the ministry is in chaos, trying to keep order as well as secrecy their top priority. albus dumbledore, in response to the growing threat, has formed the order of the phoenix to combat the death eaters directly. but even with this team of white knights working to destroy the poison that has infected their society, the height of war is not an easy flame to assuage.
terror and chaos grip the wizarding world at the increased brutality of the death eaters, whose identities are still largely unknown. even the closest of friends are becoming suspicious of each other’s motives, their whereabouts when they aren’t with the order. with the tide of paranoia rising and the dark days seeming to stretch on longer and longer, no one knows who will survive and who will perish, who will rise and who will, ultimately, fall. nothing is certain, nothing is safe, and even your deepest, quietest secrets are up for grabs when every word you hear is riddled with doubt and dishonesty.
