While I think it sometimes is a bit annoying for the person you have wanted for your adoptable but most sites have claims for that as well. On the topic of that though, i feel after a certain amount of time the claim should become free again. Its not the person that wants to joins fault that you are hogging a pb that they want to use and maybe dont want to take your adoptable because they already have plans for their characters. Unless you arre physically using the pb, its not yours to claim.

I don’t feel like anyone should feel obligated to take a want ad they don’t want. When I know a character I’m going to make is going to fit a setting in an RP, I don’t feel like I should have to go through all the want ads just in case. Face claims on want ads are an optional thing, as far as I’m concerned, and it comes down to a lot of picture plotting most of the time. If you have a solid plot, the character won’t change much having a different face claim.

I have to agree with the other person. If you have spent so long on this plot and its actually a solid great plot then changing the pb shouldnt matter. What I see in most cases is people want to use a certain pb because their character has pictures with them (selena/Justin for example). If the plots good and interesting, any pb can work.

While some wanted ads are shallow and just for pic-ships, some plots are actually fairly involved and people take characters because they fit like a glove. It’s always frustrating to see others disregard your wanted ad and just play the character. The same logic can apply in reverse, if your character is good, changing your face claim shouldn’t make a huge difference.
