(re: activity) threaten them! say if they don’t start posting that you’re going to be forced to close the site and that you don’t really don’t want; or have an ac where you need to have an active thread for each account. if that doesn’t work then just be persistent. pm random members to thread.

I have managed two successive sites for over a year each, and the important thing to remember is that activity is a rollercoaster. One month my coadmin and I were practically alone, then we were more active than ever. Staff MUST RP/post/cbox chat as normal instead of expecting other people to do it themselves. Activity breeds activity. Events and new skins can help too, but only so much if nobody’s posting. If the admins don’t seem to care, the members won’t either.
