I completely and totally disagree with the other anon. You’re using a face to represent a character. If you want to use someone who is older or younger then do so. There isn’t supposed to be a distinguishable between the character and the face claim. You chose that face to represent the character. If I see someone using Michael Fassbender for a 26 year old or Emma Watson for a 30 year old it’s just going to turn me off on the character because it’s just weird.

more on face claims - i’ve noticed people mentioning that some people don’t look their age, and this is true. however it becomes a sticky situation if admins let some faces pass for outside a range and request that other ages be changed. it’s honestly just more simple to set up a clear range above and below that a character can pass for and stick to that to avoid any complaints about “oh, but his face is eight years older, why can’t mine be eight years older too?”

You use a face because it represents what your character looks like. You aren’t using a celebrity because the celebrity is your character. If I use Gaspard Ulliel, I don’t have to have my character get attacked by a doberman at age 6. I don’t have to make him 5’10” - 5’11” just because that’s how tall my playby is. There are people who look as old as Ryan Gosling even though they’re really only 25, so why can’t my character be that age? Stop trying to herd me into your mentality.
