I can understand admins who want people to use age appropriate face claims. I’ve seen Olivia Wilde used for fourteen/fifteen year olds before and that skeeves me out. But, it should be a moot point. Sites have different rules based on the preferences of the staff. You might not agree with all of their rules, but they did work to put the entire site together for you, they are the ones running the show so that you have a forum to roleplay on, and their rules need to be respected.

My character is NOT their play by, I just choose to represent them with pictures. There needs to be a separation of celebrity vs. character. Don’t limit me just because you think “most people” can’t tell the difference between a real person and a fictional person. If I want to make my character look older or younger than they really are and use that to influence their life, there is NOTHING wrong with that.

i see people talking about how face claims like olivia wilde can’t pass for a 15 year old, but you can always use older pictures of celebrities if they’re older now. olivia used to be on the oc and whatnot, so it’s not like she doesn’t have images of a younger olivia you can’t use. just saying.
