@anon: I know how you feel. You think you join a good site away from that and then they come pouring in and drown out everybody else. Next thing you know, they all have wanted ads for the entire cast of Glee and all of One Direction and you’re surrounded by a bunch of people that do superficial pic-shipping. There’s nothing you can do about it either since you’re just a member. I have had to leave quite a few sites simply because the environment got too vapid and plotting became really hard.

i agree with the anon that it’s very frustrating when teenybopper rpers come and take over a site that you’re enjoying. i wish there was more you can do about it, but sadly i think you just have to grin and bear it or move on.

i don’t know if it’s right to call them “teenybopper” rper’s. there’s a stigma that just because you use someone from glee or a disney face that you’re an awful rper or can’t write anything of substance, and that’s not true at all.

@anon #3: i don’t think people are saying they’re teenybopper rpers because they use glee or disney faces. they’re saying they’re teenybopper rpers because they’re hyperactive and refuse to plot with anything that isn’t glee or disney and the like. when someone joins with a glee playby and requests the entire cast in a want ad, puts up a final want ad for a specific glee or disney playby and refuses to budge, then i think it’s fair to call them a teenybopper rper.

anon 4: okay, but then what about people who are joining as let’s say scarjo and requesting the whole avengers cast and want tom h. as a final, and won’t budge? are you going to call them a teenybopper rper? is that excusable because they’re using avengers pb’s, even though it’s essentially the same thing, just a different cast?

@Anon 3/5: Yes, I would consider them teenybopper rpers still. The actual faces in question are generally immaterial. It’s the fact that they chose to mimic rather than create a plot of their own, and absolutely refuse to budge because they would rather fangirl than roleplay. It’s almost impossible to plot with people like this because they already have everything mapped out in their head, and unless you share that same fan appreciation, you aren’t getting anywhere with them.
