when it comes to the reserves - i don’t mind the face reserves. it’s when it comes to the point of EVERYONE has already pre-plotted that it gets annoying. not everyone follows site tumblrs and it just gets really frustrating very quickly.

regarding face reserves on tumblr - i think they’re silly. tons of people reserve faces, and it always seems like half of them never even make an account on the site. then you’ve got a list of faces frozen, waiting for the person who reserved them who may or may not ever show up, and i think that can really put off other potential new members. sure, reserve lists are always longest the first few days, but if you can only reserve on the site, at least you know the person’s been on the site.

regarding face reserves, i was recently on a site that didn’t do tumblr reserves and it was a crazy five page long clusterfuck of people posting over on another and wanting the same people, so i think they’re a good thing.
