INTERGALACTIC

The world ended November 20th, 1962. The end came with a bang and a desolating wave of death in the wake of a nuclear holocaust. But if the human race is anything, it is resilient. The survivors build ships, gathered their young, their old, their healthy and flew them to Eden, their safe haven in the wake of the destruction.

Mars was never the ideal home, but for a hundred years it kept the last survivors of the human race safe from harm.

And humanity flourished. Two centuries ago the rapidly repopulating civilization took their journey to the stars further. They build better ships, faster ships, and went out to conquer the galaxy. Almost four hundred years later and the human race now thrives, populating nine planets and eleven moons in four different star systems. And they’re still growing, expanding, flourishing. All in the name of the great Colonial Alliance.

The Great Colonial Alliance. The largest democratic body even to ge in existence. The largest democratic body to be moving ever quicker towards a totalitarian regime. The Alliance has lost its way, they care not for the people suffering in poverty on the outer rim, they care not for the laborers being unjustly paid and mistreated, they care not for the common man. The Alliance cares for only two thing it seems, money and power, both of which they have plenty. Because of this, piracy has become an almost legitimate means of livelihood. Many people these days live by the lesson: if your government won’t help you, you’ll have to help yourself.
