Over a hundred years ago, a rebellion occurred. It was the second of its kind and although the weapons were more advanced, fighters more skilled, and strategy more developed, the rebels fell just like the war before. Their failure was imminent once their beloved Mockingjay was killed. With no symbol of hope to lead the way, the Capitol took control of the situation and came out on top. They established the Resident Redistricting Regulations as a form of punishment, separating families to prevent another uprising from occurring. Panem has calmed since then and it seems as though the quality of life in the districts is improving, but how for long will they allow themselves to be mercilessly controlled by the Capitol? Their blissful ignorance may soon fade away—they’re all digging their own shallow graves.
